Abstract:

My presentation will focus on explaining what exactly the Magnus Force and augmented reality are. It will also include background on the MARVLS app and the purposes behind creating it. Next, my presentation will discuss how I modelled the Magnus Force in AR successfully. It will also touch on some of the challenges faced while attempting to model this force. Finally, it will explain where we hope to go with this model and how it will help students better understand the physics behind the Magnus Force.
